By purchasing, using, or accessing any products or content supplied by AB: Handmade with Love™ and AB Lumière™ (collectively, "the Business"), the customer or user acknowledges and agrees that all products are used at their own risk.

All prices are listed in New Zealand Dollars (NZD) unless otherwise stated. We reserve the right to modify prices without prior notice. Payment must be received in full before any order is dispatched.

The Business is not responsible or liable for any injury, damage, loss, or adverse reaction arising from:

• Improper, unsafe, or negligent use of candles or other products;
• Failure to follow product instructions, warnings, or safety guidelines provided on packaging or our website;
• Misuse, alteration, or modification of any product after purchase;
• Unattended burning of candles, improper placement, or unsafe handling near flammable materials;

Candles involve an open flame and present an inherent fire risk. It is strictly the customer's responsibility to use our products safely.

AB: Handmade with Love™ assumes no responsibility for fire damage, property damage, or personal injury resulting from the burning of our candles. Customers agree to always burn candles within sight, keep them away from drafts, pets, and children, and trim wicks appropriately prior to each use.

To the maximum extent permitted by New Zealand law, AB: Handmade with Love™ and AB Lumière™ shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, punitive, or consequential damages of any kind whatsoever arising out of the use or inability to use our products or website.

5.1 Content Ownership

All content, designs, branding, images, graphics, and text associated with AB: Handmade with Love™ and AB Lumière™ are the exclusive intellectual property of the Business and are protected by applicable copyright laws.

5.2 Copying Restrictions

You may not reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, resell, or exploit any portion of our products, designs, website content, or service without the express written permission of the Business.

5.3 Reverse-Engineering Prohibitions

Customers, competitors, and third parties are strictly prohibited from reverse-engineering, dismantling, or attempting to replicate our proprietary candle formulations, custom molds, or product designs.

5.4 Unauthorized Use Consequences

Any unauthorized use or infringement of our intellectual property may result in immediate legal action, including but not limited to seeking injunctive relief, cease-and-desist orders, and claims for financial damages.

5.5 Trademark Protection

The names AB: Handmade with Love™ and AB Lumière™, along with our respective logos and distinctive branding elements, are protected trademarks. Their use in connection with any unauthorized product or service is strictly prohibited.

6.1 Instructions and Warnings

All products include clear instructions and safety warnings on the packaging and on our website. You must read, understand, and follow these instructions carefully before use.

6.2 Assumption of Risk

You acknowledge that all products are used at your own risk. The Business is not responsible for any injury, damage, or loss arising from the use of its products.

6.3 Misuse or Abuse

The Business cannot be held liable for any misuse, abuse, or improper handling of products, including any resulting injury, property damage, or financial loss.

6.4 Indemnity

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the Business, its owners, employees, and agents from any claim, demand, liability, or loss arising from your failure to follow product instructions or warnings, or from any misuse or abuse of the products.

6.5 Legal Effect

This clause is intended to be legally enforceable under New Zealand law. Where any part of this clause is found unenforceable, the remainder will continue in full effect.

By completing a purchase, navigating our website, or using any of our products, you explicitly acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms of Service in their entirety.
